About the Missouri Petroleum Storage Tank Insurance Fund (MO PSTIF)
We provide coverage for participants who store petroleum in underground and aboveground tanks so if there’s a leak or a spill, funds are available for cleanup. We also provide funds for cleanup of tank sites where USTs or ASTs were operated in the past, if the property meets certain criteria.

Training
The state of Missouri requires operators of Underground Storage Tanks (USTs) to demonstrate they have been trained in how to properly operate their tank systems. Owners or operators of USTs must: 1) designate at least one (1) Class A/B Operator and 2) must ensure that Class C Operators are designated. This training is provided to help meet those requirements.
